Heza Nkonge Washed
ORANGE, HONEY, LONG FINISH
People | Coffee | Potential
We are super proud to finally be stocking some of Ben Carlson’s Burundi coffee. We have been admiring what he and the folks of Long Miles Coffee Project have been doing for years now, and have been super inspired by the fact that they are fulfilling a dream that has been on their hearts for a very long time. Long Miles Coffee Project has built two of their own washing stations, one called Heza and the other Bukeye, and have been processing coffee cherry from the surrounding area’s farmers, separating the coffees according to different hills.
This coffee is processed at the award winning Heza Washing Station near the Kibira Forest at the border of Burundi and Rwanda. This lot is fully washed.
