Coffee is one of Tanzania's main economic contributors and is its largest export. Today just under 50,000 smallholder farmers produce 90% of Tanzania’s coffee, the remainder is produced by large estates. About 70% of Tanzania’s coffee production is Arabica.
Kwanza is based in the Southern Highlands region of Tanzania. At this specific station they only produce natural coffees due to water scarcity.
